Make At Home SPA Recipes

Nothing is more satisfying than being able to create your own spa beauty products at home. There are thriving communities across the World Wide Web that encourage people to make their own beauty products using tried and tested natural ingredients such as honey, aloe vera, hazelnut and more.

You probably found our page for this reason: you are interested in creating your own spa products at home. Now you are wondering: what is our motivation to create spa products instead of buying them?

I don't know about you, but my personal reason is quite simple: I believe that manufacturers of spa products and beauty products in general do not have public safety as the number one priority.

There are countless reports and studies showing that the ingredients (mainly preservatives) added to commercial beauty products are not safe for the skin and can cause serious long-term problems.

Instead of exposing myself to such risks, I decided to create my own spa recipe items and never looked back. You will be surprised how effective natural and do-it-yourself recipes can be! We owe it all to Mother Nature and now you too can start enjoying the fantastic spa products at home without worrying about the hidden toxic ingredients.

Here are some recipes to get started:

Honey Skin Scrub

Who doesn't love an exceptional scrub when I'm at the spa? Honey Skin Scrub is able to exfoliate and hydrate the skin at the same time. If you want an all-natural scrub that doesn't take forever to prepare, try this recipe.

For this recipe you will need:

An American cup of coarse salt or fine salt
Half a cup of fresh honey
Half a cup of extra virgin olive oil
Any scented base oil you like. The scent of Honey Skin Scrub is completely up to you.
You can also opt for the odorless route if you don't care much about the scent of the scrub.
honey scrub
To create the scrub, simply combine all the ingredients in a glass bowl or glass, and mix well until you have been able to process the honey and oil in the salt.
This may take some time and patience, as salt can sometimes be resistant to mixing. Once the honey and extra virgin olive oil have been processed in a cup of salt, the preparation is ready for use. Feel free to apply generous quantities of Honey Skin Scrub on your arms, chest and even face (avoid the eyes of course). Gently rub the skin and rinse with water.

Natural citrus moisturizer

Beeswax
This is a simple and fabulous recipe with some ingredients:
A third cup of beeswax
A third cup of freshly squeezed lime juice
Any scented base oil you like. The scent of the citrus moisturizer is completely up to you. Feel free to use odorless oils if you want.
Just dissolve the beeswax in a hot pan and combine with the chosen base oil. Pour the freshly squeezed lime juice when the beeswax has been dissolved. Pour the solution into a glass container and let it cool for half an hour before using it.

Create homemade SPA recipes quickly and easily in your home

Spa products have multiplied so much on the world market that it is impossible not to find some of them in your city.
However, the question remains as to whether it is actually practical to continue purchasing spa products, as more and more chemicals are added to them every year. There is a high demand for these products, but they still need to be kept for a long shelf life.

This means that manufacturers of "natural" spa products are also adding things that are not necessarily natural (or even good for the skin). If the thought of these artificial additives terrifies you, then it's time to try the natural spa recipes that you can easily prepare at home.

Of course, homemade spa products will have a shorter shelf life because they do not contain potentially harmful preservatives. But it doesn't matter, you can always do more! This is the great thing about homemade spa products; once you have the basic ingredients at home, you can continue to produce the right amount of moisturizers and toners for daily use.

Here are some natural spa recipes to start your journey towards the use of safe and homemade spa products that your skin will certainly appreciate.

Natural lip gloss

Beetroot juice:

Don't be shocked ... to make this lip gloss you will need fresh beetroot juice which you can get by running beetroot through a juicer machine. Here's what else you need:
2 and a half tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of castor oil
A 1/4 cup natural beeswax cup
Any diluted scented oil you wish to add.
To make the lip gloss, first place the beeswax in a pan and melt it over low heat. Once the beeswax has melted, turn off the heat and add the rest of the ingredients.
Mix using a spatula or any other non-reactive stirrer until a fine and equal consistency is obtained. Add all the beetroot juice you want to get the desired shade. Some people like their really reddish natural lip gloss; if you feel the same, just add more beetroot juice to the mixture.

Natural Lip Moisturizer

Tired of lip moisturizers that cost too much? Now you can make your own without breaking the bank! Here is what you will need this fast and easy natural recipe to make at home:
4 tablespoons of colorless beeswax
4 tablespoons of fragrant oil
½ teaspoon of lime oil
1 tablespoon of fresh honey
This recipe is very easy to complete – begin by combining the colorless beeswax and four tablespoons of fragrant oil in a pan. Turn up the heat so that the beeswax begins to melt. Stir both ingredients together until they are mixed well.

Turn off the heat, and add the lime oil and fresh honey to the pan. Mix all of the ingredients until a pasty consistency is achieved. Pour the contents of the pan to a clean glass container, and let the mixture cool down and set.

You will need to wait at least thirty minutes for the mixture to set completely. Once the natural lip moisturizer has set and hardened in its glass container, take a small amount and apply to your lips.
